中文 | 老年人哪,当听我的话。国中的居民哪,都要侧耳而听。在你们的日子,或你们列祖的日子,曾有这样的事吗。 |
英文 | Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? |

中文 | 你们要将这事传与子,子传与孙,孙传与后代。 |
英文 | Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation. |

中文 | 酒醉的人哪,要清醒哭泣。好酒的人哪,都要为甜酒哀号。因为从你们的口中断绝了。 |
英文 | Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. |

英文 | He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white. |

英文 | The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD's ministers, mourn. |

中文 | 田荒凉,地悲哀,因为五谷毁坏,新酒乾竭,油也缺乏。 |
英文 | The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth. |

中文 | 农夫阿,你们要惭愧,修理葡萄园的阿,你们要哀号,因为大麦小麦,与田间的庄稼,都灭绝了。 |
英文 | Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished. |

中文 | 葡萄树枯乾,无花果树衰残。石榴树,棕树,苹果树,连田野一切的树木,也都枯乾。众人的喜乐尽都消灭。 |
英文 | The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men. |

英文 | Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. |

英文 | The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered. |

英文 | How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate. |

中文 | 耶和华阿,我向你求告。因为火烧灭旷野的草场,火焰烧尽田野的树木。 |
英文 | O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field. |
