英文 | The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. |

中文 | 应当在净光的山竖立大旗,向群众扬声招手,使他们进入贵胄的门。 |
英文 | Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles. |

中文 | 我吩咐我所挑出来的人。我招呼我的勇士,就是那矜夸高傲之辈,为要成就我怒中所定的。 |
英文 | I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. |

中文 | 山间有多人的声音,好像是大国人民。有许多国的民聚集哄囔的声音。这是万军之耶和华点齐军队,豫备打仗。 |
英文 | The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. |

英文 | They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. |

中文 | 你们要哀号,因为耶和华的日子临近了。这日来到,好像毁灭从全能者来到。 |
英文 | Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. |

中文 | 所以人手都必软弱,人心都必消化。 |
英文 | Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: |

中文 | 他们必惊惶悲痛。愁苦必将他们抓住。他们疼痛,好像产难的妇人一样。彼此惊奇相看,脸如火焰。 |
英文 | And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. |

中文 | 耶和华的日子临到,必有残忍,忿恨,烈怒。使这地荒凉,从其中除灭罪人。 |
英文 | Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. |

中文 | 天上得众星群宿,都不发光。日头一出,就变黑暗,月亮也不放光。 |
英文 | For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. |

中文 | 我必因邪恶,刑罚世界,因罪孽,刑罚恶人。使骄傲人的狂妄止息,制伏强暴人的狂傲。 |
英文 | And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. |

英文 | I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. |

中文 | 我万军之耶和华在忿恨中发烈怒的日子,必使天震动,使地摇憾,离其本位。 |
英文 | Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. |

中文 | 人必像被追赶的鹿,像无人收聚的羊,各归回本族,各逃到本土。 |
英文 | And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land. |

中文 | 凡被仇敌追上的,必被刺死。凡被捉住的,必被刀杀。 |
英文 | Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. |

中文 | 他们的婴孩,必在他们眼前摔碎。他们的房屋,必被抢夺。他们的妻子,必被玷污。 |
英文 | Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. |

中文 | 我必激动玛代人来攻击他们。玛代人不注重银子,也不喜爱金子。 |
英文 | Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. |

中文 | 他们必用弓击碎少年人,不怜悯妇人所生的,眼也不顾惜孩子。 |
英文 | Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children. |
第19段
中文 | 巴比伦素来为列国的荣耀,为迦勒底人所矜夸的华美,必像神所倾覆的所多玛蛾摩拉一样。 |
英文 | And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. |

中文 | 其内必永无人烟,世世代代无人居住。阿拉伯人也不在那里支搭帐蓬。牧羊的人,也不使羊群卧在那里。 |
英文 | It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there. |

英文 | But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. |
