第1段
| 中文 | 我是真葡萄树，我父是栽培的人。 |
| 英文 | I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. |

| 中文 | 凡属我不结果子的枝子，他就剪去。凡结果子的， |
| 英文 | Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. |

| 中文 | 现在你们因我讲给你们的道，已经乾净了。 |
| 英文 | Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. |
第4段
| 中文 | 你们要常在我里面，我也常在你们里面。枝子若不常在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子。你们若不常在我里面，也是这样。 |
| 英文 | Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. |

| 中文 | 我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，这人就多结果子。因为离了我，你们就不能作什么。 |
| 英文 | I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. |

| 中文 | 人若不常在我里面，就像枝子丢在外面枯乾，人拾起来，扔在火里烧了。 |
| 英文 | If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. |

| 中文 | 你们若常在我里面，我的话也常在你们里面，凡你们所愿意的，祈求就给你们成就。 |
| 英文 | If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. |

| 中文 | 你们多结果子，我父就因此得荣耀，你们也就是我的门徒了。 |
| 英文 | Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. |

| 中文 | 我爱你们，正如父爱我一样。你们要常在我的爱里。 |
| 英文 | As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. |

| 中文 | 你们若遵守我的命令，就常在我的爱里。正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的爱里。 |
| 英文 | If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. |

| 中文 | 这些事我已经对你们说了，是要叫我的喜乐，存在你们心里，并叫你们的喜乐可以满足。 |
| 英文 | These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. |

| 中文 | 你们要彼此相爱，像我爱你们一样，这就是我的命令。 |
| 英文 | This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. |

| 中文 | 人为朋友舍命，人的爱心没有比这个更大的。 |
| 英文 | Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. |

| 英文 | Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. |

| 中文 | 以后我不再称你们为仆人。因仆人不知道主人所作的事。我乃称你们为朋友。因我从我父所听见的。已经都告诉你们了。 |
| 英文 | Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. |

| 中文 | 不是你们拣选了我，是我拣选了你们，并且分派你们去结果子，叫你们的果子长存。使你们奉我的名，无论向父求什么，他就赐给你们。 |
| 英文 | Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. |

| 中文 | 世人若恨你们，你们知道（或作该知道）恨你们以先，已经恨我了。 |

| 英文 | Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. |

| 英文 | But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. |

| 英文 | If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. |

| 英文 | But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: |

| 英文 | And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. |
