英文 | Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. |

中文 | 我乐意将至高的神向我所行的神迹奇事宣扬出来。 |
英文 | I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. |

中文 | 他的神迹何其大。他的奇事何其盛。他的国是永远的。他的权柄存到万代。 |
英文 | How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation. |

中文 | 我尼布甲尼撒安居在宫中,平顺在殿内。 |
英文 | I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace: |

中文 | 我作了一梦,使我惧怕。我在床上的思念,并脑中的异象,使我惊惶。 |
英文 | I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. |

中文 | 所以我降旨召巴比伦的一切哲士到我面前,叫他们把梦的讲解告诉我。 |
英文 | Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream. |

中文 | 于是那些术士,用法术的,迦勒底人,观兆的都进来,我将那梦告诉了他们,他们却不能把梦的讲解告诉我。 |
英文 | Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof. |

英文 | O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof. |

英文 | Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great. |

中文 | 叶子华美,果子甚多,可作众生的食物。田野的走兽卧在荫下,天空的飞鸟宿在枝上。凡有血气的都从这树得食。 |
英文 | The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. |

英文 | I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven; |

英文 | He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches: |

英文 | Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth: |

中文 | 这是守望者所发的命,圣者所出的令,好叫世人知道至高者在人的国中掌权,要将国赐与谁就赐与谁,或立极卑微的人执掌国权。 |
英文 | This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. |

英文 | This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee. |

英文 | It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth. |

中文 | 王既看见一位守望的圣者从天而降,说,将这树砍伐毁坏,树墩却要留在地内,用铁圈和铜圈箍住。在田野的青草中,让天露滴湿,使他与地上的兽一同吃草,直到经过七期。 |
英文 | And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him; |

中文 | 王阿,求你悦纳我的谏言,以施行公义断绝罪过,以怜悯穷人除掉罪孽,或者你的平安可以延长。 |
英文 | Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity. |

英文 | The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? |

中文 | 这话在王口中尚未说完,有声音从天降下,说,尼布甲尼撒王阿,有话对你说,你的国位离开你了。 |
英文 | While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. |

英文 | And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. |

中文 | 当时这话就应验在尼布甲尼撒的身上,他被赶出离开世人,吃草如牛,身被天露滴湿,头发长长,好像鹰毛。指甲长长,如同鸟爪。 |
英文 | The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. |

英文 | And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: |

中文 | 世上所有的居民都算为虚无。在天上的万军和世上的居民中,他都凭自己的意旨行事。无人能拦住他手,或问他说,你做什么呢。 |
英文 | And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? |

中文 | 那时,我的聪明复归于我,为我国的荣耀,威严,和光耀也都复归于我。并且我的谋士和大臣也来朝见我。我又得坚立在国位上,至大的权柄加增于我。 |
英文 | At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. |

中文 | 现在我尼布甲尼撒赞美,尊崇,恭敬天上的王。因为他所作的全都诚实,他所行的也都公平。那行动骄傲的,他能降为卑。 |
英文 | Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. |
