英文 | I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; |

中文 | 务要传道。无论得时不得时,总要专心,并用百般的忍耐,各样的教训,责备人,警戒人,劝勉人。 |
英文 | Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. |

中文 | 因为时候要到,人必厌烦纯正的道理。耳朵发痒,就随从自己的情欲,增添好些师傅。 |
英文 | For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; |

中文 | 并且掩耳不听真道,偏向荒渺的言语。 |
英文 | And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. |

中文 | 你却要凡事谨慎,忍受苦难,作传道的工夫,尽你的职分。 |
英文 | But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. |

中文 | 从此以后,有公义的冠冕为我存留,就是按着公义审判的主到了那日要赐给我的。不但赐给我,也赐给凡爱慕他显现的人。 |
英文 | Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. |
