| 英文 | Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: |

| 中文 | 但你放纵情欲，滚沸如水，必不得居首位。因为你上了你父亲的床，污秽了我的榻。 |
| 英文 | Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch. |
