| 英文 | And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it. |

| 中文 | 有人告诉大卫家说，亚兰与以法莲已经同盟。王的心和百姓的心就都跳动，好像林中的树被风吹动一样。 |
| 英文 | And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind. |

| 英文 | And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah. |

| 英文 | Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying, |

| 中文 | 说，我们可以上去，攻击犹太，扰乱他，攻破他，在其中立他比勒的儿子为王。 |
| 英文 | Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal: |

| 中文 | 所以主耶和华如此说，这所谋的必立不住，也不得成就。 |
| 英文 | Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass. |

| 中文 | 原来亚兰的首城是大马士革，大马士革的首领是利汛。六十五年之内，以法莲必然破坏，不再成为国民。 |
| 英文 | For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people. |

| 中文 | 以法莲的受首城是撒玛利亚，撒玛利亚的首领是利玛利的儿子。你们若是不信，定然不得立稳。 |
| 英文 | And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established. |

| 英文 | Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. |

| 中文 | 亚哈斯说，我不求，我不试探耶和华。 |
| 英文 | But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD. |

| 中文 | 以赛亚说，大卫家阿，你们当听。你们使人厌烦岂算小事，还要使我的神厌烦吗。 |
| 英文 | And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? |

| 中文 | 因此，主自己要给你们一个兆头，必有童女怀孕生子，给他起名叫以马内利。（就是神与我们同在的意思） |
| 英文 | Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. |

| 中文 | 到他晓得弃恶择善的时候，他必吃奶油与蜂蜜。 |
| 英文 | Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. |
第16段
| 中文 | 因为在这孩子还不晓得弃恶择善之先，你所憎恶的那两王之地，必致见弃。 |
| 英文 | For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings. |

| 中文 | 耶和华必使亚述王攻击你的日子临到，你和你的百姓，并你的父家，自从以法莲离开犹太以来，未曾有这样的日子。 |
| 英文 | The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria. |

| 中文 | 那时，耶和华要发丝声，使埃及江河源头的苍蝇，和亚述地的蜂子飞来。 |
| 英文 | And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria. |

| 中文 | 都必飞来，落在荒凉的谷内，磐石的穴里，和一切荆棘篱笆中，并一切的草场上。 |
| 英文 | And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes. |

| 中文 | 那时，主必用大河外赁的剃头刀，就是亚述王，剃去头发，和脚上的毛，并要剃净胡须。 |
| 英文 | In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard. |

| 中文 | 那时，一个人要养活一只母牛犊，两只母绵羊。 |
| 英文 | And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep; |

| 中文 | 因为出的奶多，他就得吃奶油。在境内所剩的人，都要吃奶油与蜂蜜。 |
| 英文 | And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land. |

| 中文 | 从前凡种一千棵葡萄树，值银一千舍客勒的地方，到那时，必长荆棘和蒺藜。 |
| 英文 | And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns. |

| 中文 | 人上那里去，必带弓剑，因为遍地满了荆棘和蒺藜。 |
| 英文 | With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns. |
第25段
| 中文 | 所有用锄刨挖的山地，你因怕荆棘和蒺藜，不敢上那里去。只可成了放牛之处，为羊践踏之地。 |
| 英文 | And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle. |
