英文 | Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. |

中文 | 但要免淫乱的事,男人当各有自己的妻子,女子也当各有自己的丈夫。 |
英文 | Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. |

中文 | 丈夫当用合宜之分待妻子,妻子待丈夫也要如此。 |
英文 | Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. |

中文 | 妻子没有权柄主张自己的身子,乃在丈夫。丈夫也没有权柄主张自己的身子,乃在妻子。 |
英文 | The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. |

中文 | 夫妻不可彼此亏负,除非两相情愿,暂时分房,为要专心祷告方可,以后仍要同房,免得撒但趁着你们情不自禁,引诱你们。 |
英文 | Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. |

英文 | I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. |

中文 | 倘若自己禁止不住,就可以嫁娶。与其欲火攻心,倒不如嫁娶为妙。 |
英文 | But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. |

中文 | 至于那已经嫁娶的,我吩咐他们,其实不是我吩咐,乃是主吩咐,说,妻子不可离开丈夫。 |
英文 | And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: |

中文 | 若是离开了,不可再嫁。或是同丈夫和好。丈夫也不可离弃妻子。 |
英文 | But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. |

中文 | 我对其馀的人说,不是主说,倘若某弟兄有不信的妻子,妻子也情愿和他住,他就不要离弃妻子。 |
英文 | But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. |

英文 | For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. |

中文 | 倘若那不信的人要离去,就由他离去吧。无论是弟兄,是姐妹,遇着这样的事,都不必拘束。神召我们原是要我们和睦。 |
英文 | But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. |

中文 | 你这作妻子的,怎吗知道不能救你的丈夫呢。你这作丈夫的,怎吗知道不能救你的妻子呢。 |
英文 | For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife? |

英文 | But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches. |

英文 | Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised. |

中文 | 受割礼算不得什么,不受割礼也算不得什么。只要守神的诫命就是了。 |
英文 | Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. |

中文 | 各人蒙召的时候是什么身分,仍要守住这身分。 |
英文 | Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. |

中文 | 你是作奴隶蒙召的吗,不要因此忧虑。若能以自由,就求自由更好。 |
英文 | Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. |

中文 | 因为作奴仆蒙召于主的,就是主所释放的人。作自由之人蒙召的,就是基督的奴仆。 |
英文 | For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant. |

中文 | 你们是重价买来的。不要作人的奴仆。 |
英文 | Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. |

中文 | 弟兄们,你们各人蒙召的时候是什么身分,仍要在神面前守住这身分。 |
英文 | Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God. |

中文 | 论到童身的人,我没有主的命令,但我既蒙主怜恤,能作忠心的人,就把自己的意见告诉你们 |
英文 | Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful. |

中文 | 因现今的艰难,据我看来,人不如守素安常才好。 |
英文 | I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be. |

中文 | 你有妻子缠着呢,就不要求脱离。你没有妻子缠着呢,就不要求妻子。 |
英文 | Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. |

中文 | 你若娶妻,并不是犯罪。处女若出嫁,也不是犯罪。然而这等人肉身必受苦难。我却愿意你们免这苦难。 |
英文 | But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. |

英文 | And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away. |

中文 | 我愿你们无所挂虑。没有娶妻的,是为主的事挂虑,想怎样叫主喜悦。 |
英文 | But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: |

中文 | 娶了妻的,是为世上的事挂虑,想怎样叫妻子喜悦。 |
英文 | But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. |

中文 | 妇人和处女也有分别。没有出嫁的,是为主的事挂虑,要身体灵魂都圣洁。已经出嫁的,是为世上的事挂虑,想要怎样叫丈夫喜悦。 |
英文 | There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. |

中文 | 我说这话,是为你们的益处。不是要牢笼你们,乃是要叫你们行合宜的事,得以殷勤服事主,没有分心的事。 |
英文 | And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction. |

中文 | 若有人以为自己待他的女儿不合宜,女儿也过了年岁,事又当行,他就可随意办理,不算有罪,叫二人成亲就是了。 |
英文 | But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry. |

英文 | So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better. |

中文 | 丈夫活着的时候,妻子是被约束的。丈夫若死了,妻子就可以自由,随意再嫁。只是要嫁这在主里面的人。 |
英文 | The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. |
